gorgeous summer morning for this session in a new park that i had never been.  it was actually his first birthday the day of our session.      i have been photographing this little guy since he was a newborn so super fun to photograph yet another milestone.  I love to see how much they change and grow every time i get to see them.   he looked like such a big boy.   we went back to the house and he chowed down on a little birthday cake.   mom and dad weren't sure if he'd like it.   i think he did.. dont you?    so cute.

a mini session out in the field with this adorable family.     they had so much fun roaming around and looking at all of the sites.    i love the chair shots.     we tried this right when we started and he wasn't too sure about sitting on it.   on our way back to the car his mom and I were chatting and he climbs onto the chair of coarse.  when you see them here they may look posed ...  like we may have bribed him to sit there  ....   but not at all.     PATIENCE...  and we will bring out their natural personalities.

Schedule update

Summer is almost full.   July is FULL.     August has three openings for full session.   We also have a few mini session slots for August.   We fill up the mini session dates before we even get to post them so if you are interested in a mini session contact us right away.   We put interested clients on our list and usually we fill the spots before we even post it on the blog.   
we have started booking for Sept now also and have 6 spots remaining.   

Lots of new things coming ...  some that i can't even talk about yet ...   but for starters ...   a new blog, a new fresh updated site, a new client site for those who have scheduled a session which will make communication so easy and efficient.    Cant wait for all these changes to actually be up and running.   the new shopping cart is live too which is going to make ordering and sorting through your galleries super easy too.  
WHEW!!!    No wonder I am not getting much sleep lately!

The magazine is out!

My cover image in Scrapbooks ect./ July issue is out on the stands.   Adorable miss ava is on the front.   Love this magazine and feel honored that they were checking out my blog and asked me if they could use this photo.    There is also one of my wedding images from last summer on the inside.    so fun!!!

and miss J is a first grader!!!!   how does time go so quickly.  


and jake is as silly as ever.   he came down yesterday am with blankets in hand and goggles on ready to watch curious goerge.    gosh, he makes me laugh.

a fun afternoon of the most adorable children,  an entire alley full of racks of clothing, hats, chairs and good friends.    cant get over these...   thank you all for being a part of this fun day. 

and the new susie knits hats were unbelievable!   they went with everything... added texture and color to every outfit.  the yellow flower is my FAVORITE.   its been on a headband, a hat and pinned on a denim jacket.   LOVE IT!!!  
thanks you miss susie for your creativity.  It inspires me!   

I made a slideshow and actually got it on my site!!!     I know its a bit fast but i actually made it thinking no one would ever see it.   :)    First of all, i know nothing about website jargon, html, ftp... its like a foreign language to me.   You see,  i also do like following directions LOL ... so these kind of things  take me some time and when it works I want to dance around my office.   actually i just might  :)

little thomas is such a sweet boy.  It feels like i just did his newborn session and now he is sitting up and already scooting himself across the floor to get things.  my, how fast they change.    he was having a serious day on the day of our session but we still had fun and got some great shots of him and his parents.    here are a few...

almost six

love field sessions in the spring and summer ...  we did this little session with jayden  to get a fun photo for her birthday invite.   the yellow pages are are part of an album i am making for her.  ill post my invite soon.  

we had so much fun.   she LOVES picking flowers right now ... happy as can be... singing a song she made up as she picked me a beautiful bouquet.    love you miss j.
